'Prisoners' Trailer: Angry Hugh Jackman Hunting Down His Missing Daughter

Summer only officially started a few days ago, but for those who don’t want a long procession of super-powered tentpoles, summer movie fatigue is here in full force.

The newest trailer for Prisoners, the story of two families whose joint Thanksgiving is splintered when their two little girls go missing. Jackman takes on the angry, domineering patriarch who feverishly hunts them down, while Howard seems to play a slightly more pacifistic father. The mothers, portrayed by Maria Bello and Viola Davis, are barely seen in the clip, which altogether feels like it's revealing a bit too much about this all-star film.

Hitting theaters on September 20th, Prisoners boasts an impressive ensemble. Jackman and Gyllenhaal both provide leading man chops, but there's still room for the likes of Viola Davis, Maria Bello, Terrence Howard, Melissa Leo, and Paul Dano.
